Cakkou is a French producer, sound designer and DJ based in Byron Bay, Australia. Drawing inspiration from the French underground rave movement and Australia's psychedelic festival culture, she has developed a distinctive sound she describes as PsyTribe, a fusion of Psytech, Zenon, DarkPsy, Acid,Tribe and experimental electronic music.
Known for intricate sound design, hypnotic grooves and cinematic storytelling, Cakkou now performs exclusively her own productions, delivering immersive sets that offer audiences a truly original experience. Her music blends dark psychedelic atmospheres, fat basslines, playful arrangements and relentless dancefloor energy into a sonic journey that is instantly recognisable as her own.

Cakkou is a French music producer, sound designer and live-performing DJ based in Byron Bay, Australia. Deeply rooted in underground electronic music, she has been shaping dancefloors since 2019 while dedicating herself to music production and advanced sound design since 2022.
Growing up between the French underground rave movement, warehouse parties and free parties before immersing herself in Australia's psychedelic festival culture, Cakkou has built an artistic identity that refuses to fit within a single genre. Instead of following trends, she has developed a highly recognisable sonic language inspired by Psytech, Zenon, DarkPsy, Tribe, Acid and experimental electronic music.
She describes her sound as PsyTribe, her own interpretation of psychedelic electronic music. It combines dark psychedelic atmospheres, heavy kick and bass, hypnotic grooves, intricate glitch sound design, playful arrangements and cinematic storytelling into an immersive dancefloor experience that feels both powerful and unpredictable.
Her journey began in Paris, where she was part of Le Venus Club, a collective dedicated to promoting women in electronic music. The project opened the doors to some of Paris' most respected venues, including La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Sacré, Kilomètre25, Rotonde Stalingrad and Badaboom, before she relocated to Australia in 2022.
Living in Byron Bay introduced her to the renowned Zenon scene and completely transformed her creative approach. Rather than simply writing tracks, she became obsessed with sound design, spending countless hours crafting original textures, rhythms and atmospheres that now define her productions.
Today, Cakkou performs exclusively her own music. Every set is built from her original catalogue, creating a fresh experience for audiences discovering sounds they have never heard before. Moving effortlessly between progressive psychedelic grooves, deep Zenonesque journeys, acid-driven moments and darker psychedelic landscapes, she reads the energy of the dancefloor in real time while maintaining a constant sense of momentum, groove and surprise.
Whether performing at clubs or festivals, her mission remains the same: to create immersive sonic journeys that transport people somewhere unfamiliar, where powerful rhythm meets psychedelic storytelling and every track carries her unmistakable sonic signature.
